there are many ways you can enhance the content in your email i'm darlene and i'm going to show you the feature add-ons in godaddy email marketing to access the feature add-ons from the websites plus marketing dashboard click settings and under marketing select email the business information on your sending tab is used to populate your email footer so visit this tab if you need to update or edit your email footer information the feature add-ons tab allows you to enable additional email functionalities to help you look like a pro enabling the social icons feature ensures your marketing emails display icons above the email footer for each platform you use to add your social accounts click the gear and then enter the url for the account in the appropriate field the campaign tweaks feature enables you to determine where you'd like common items such as your unsubscribe or social links to display in the emails you sent to access your options click the gear enabling the sharing stats feature adds a share button on your stats page which lets you securely share your email metrics with anyone using a unique url finally there's personalization enabling this feature lets you define and use personalization tags in your emails to create a tag click the gear and in the personalization area click add a personalization tag select the data field that you want to create a personalization tag for in the yellow text field enter a fallback for this piece of data in case it's missing from the contact information now click save and it's ready to use now in your next email if you want to greet each contact in your subscriber list by first name you can use your new personalization tag and write dear in parentheses first name and godaddy email marketing will automatically plug in their first name oh and if their first name isn't in the data friend will display in its place these feature add-ons let email marketing newbies look like pros so be sure to take advantage of them i'm darlene thanks for watching you
