hi I'm Emily and I'm gonna take you on a tour of the my domains page and show you how to access some domain related tasks and domain specific settings let's go I'm logged into a GoDaddy account I'll click the arrow to access the Quick Links and select manage domains right now I have the screen set to advanced view in the advanced view you have the option of using the primary domains menu at the top of the page or selecting individual domains from your account in the table and using the secondary menu to perform tasks the primary menu is available regardless of which view you choose so I'll give you a rundown of domain related commands using it the domains menu provides a variety of commands you can use to filter and view domains by their status whether they're within GoDaddy or moving between GoDaddy and another registrar the buy and sell menu contains commands that are exclusively used by domain errs or people to buy and sell domains for profit advanced editing tasks related to editing a domains DNS records can be accessed through the DNS menu the settings menu offers commands used to organize and manage the domains in your account as well as delegate access to these domains and last the help menu will take you directly into a repository of domain related help articles let's take a look at domain specific settings using the simple view to toggle between the advanced and simple use the icons to the right of the search field and just like I promised the primary menu is still at the top of the page however you'll notice the domain list is way more streamlined let's go through the display table in simple view first up domains you can use this little arrow next to the name to sort your domains in ascending or descending alphabetical order in the estimated value column GoDaddy is providing what we estimate to be the true value of your domain this number is based on historical sales data for millions of domain names if you decide you want to use our brokerage service to try and sell your domain on the after market just click lists for sale and we'll get the process started just keep in mind this is an estimated value sellers may ask for a price below or above the estimated value if your domain isn't being used the next steps column displays a use my domain button thinking this takes you to a page where you can decide how to put your domain name to work for you now use it for a website's Plus marketing site forward it to somewhere on the web create an email account for it or build a wordpress site on it the Auto renewal column lets you know if you have this feature turned on or not if you look directly under the domain name you'll see the date on which the domain will renew if auto renew is off just click the toggle switch to turn it on in the final column you'll get a breakdown of the privacy settings you selected for your domain the link that reads your information is private indicates you've added private registration for this domain if you don't have private registration you can always add it by clicking the Buy link want a peek at what the public sees on who is when your domain is private click the link you can also turn privacy off on that page but who wants all that spam if your domain also has protective registration you'll see the phrase your domain is protected beneath the privacy link again if you don't have it you can always add it by clicking the Buy link last but not least to access the domains DNS records or its settings click the three little dots here hope this tour makes you a little more comfortable navigating your domain related info see you next time you
