Email marketing can and should be the lifeblood of your business if you do not have a list or if you do not send emails to your list you will like in this video I will talk about four tips that helps you increase that engagement with your emails and help you see the open rates rise exponentially up to fifty percent, so if you get stuck on this video we'll jump right in and explain how we do it email list again for those who may not be familiar, if you do not have a list then you do not have a business and so as soon as you can, you will start collection of emails you can do it using various softwares like click funnel click funnel you can offer people a free free product or free e-book or a free video in return for their email i will provide something of value for them in exchange for their email as you have their email you can continue to market them, tell them more about you educate them give them some more information so you will always nurture and increase your list so one thing is really important as well as increasing your e-mail open rates when sending an e-mail is a kind of curation of the lis tea so one thing I do I have to show you right here this is mail or light I use four or five different e-mail automation systems mailer, it is one of them they have this one feature if I click on subscribers and then clean up in an action it shows you those who have been on your list for more than six months and opened no emails that you said okay now the reason I want to clean up in Mayan is active and I will actually delete them from my list the bigger your Chris, your list grows when you send out emails, if you send a thousand emails and a hundred people open them it's only 10% and therefore the chances of your email mail hides as spam rises as your open rate drops unsubscribed I am so now they are off my list it will take a minute and the page needs updating s but it's really important i have over 13,000 people on my email list i have had times times over 25 but i keep deleting and tidying up the list just to make sure my open rates will be good now the next thing i do what i want to do on my web server website it is called call to share and i have articles that are more specific to a religious genre what i want to do is i want to see what articles i post that are clear say organic and such as I will post it on Facebook right and then I can see the engagement here on the right side and if I see an article that has greater commitment what I want to make sure is that I have that article be the headline of my email newsletter campaign so as an example here are some of my campaigns so it says news president nelson says more temples are coming soon and church membership is going viral in brazil okay so the reason i chose that title is because i looked organic face and through lots of comments o g shares that it went very well and so the first thing I did was that I made sure it was the title of my newsletter just knowing that it had already been kind of like good witnesses essentially that I was driving already , so it's one thing really important that you know there are others I scroll through here sorry it's kind of slow like this there actually is this talked about someone who died and you know who had five times commitment as some of these others and then just monitor your social engagement as you see that things are resonating with people online like via Facebook or via a Twitter post or Instagram I am also another thing I do as well as I monitor other sites Facebook page pages and see kind of what things are shared well on their page and I know it's going to interest my readers so well because I have the same if you have the same, you know goals market one thing that is really important to you is to make sure everything is optimal er for mobile meaning you want to try out how things are melted there you have a limited space right with your topic let me even let pop in here really fast see Creegan so what I'm talking about you have your topic right here but then you have this this is today I can show you what I mean, this will be your topic and this little piece right here will be this preview text and then I make sure the topic and preview text is kind of engaging especially on mobile there are many of my openings are mobile so let's go back here really fast I want to show something but what I do this last email stated what I did well maybe this kind of number the things it talked about, that's what I get lucky, who keeps this clean okay secondly you will see which articles feel good organic if you have a blog or if you just have posts see which ones do organic I like to feel good organic and send them out as your kind of head piece content tr e, you want to make sure you have the articles that are doing well, that's the headline, so that research is really important because you know what is already attracting people, and then you use it as a headline forward it get their attention and the other thing you do is you can run split tests with different article have lines you can on Merrick mail or light I think in most emails newsletters you can have a feature to do a shared test and see which is engaging better and you can choose headbands that do the fourth thing I do is I remove my newsletter up to four times and you can probably even do it more properly as an example I sent this e-mail six days ago you know several temples coming in a short time and then I sent it out that says six days ago here but it was actually last the following day and you can see that there are 23 percent that opened it, so that it was originally sent to thirteen thousand five hundred people thirty percent open the next day it was sent to the ten thousand people who had not opened it and 23 hundred more people open it so twenty three percent of these people opened it and I did not stop there what I actually did is two days later from the original send I sent a brand new campaign but what I did is I just changed the subject header and then I sent it out again and then open another eight percent it in a recently started and and another 10 people 10 percent opens it okay so if you look at the statistics here, I basically pulled this statistic over opens so the first ones send 4,000 people second a 2331 682 fourth 824 so ai a total of seven thousand nine hundred people open the email and my list size is thirteen thousand four hundred three so 58% of the population open it okay now a thing people are worried about is like one, they are kind of afraid to email the list sometimes think people want good people unsubscribe and it's like who likes okay because what's the point of having an email list of people if you do not email them okay the other thing that is free to do is send an email multiple times because he will think I'm in a short time right after Melissa I feel too spammy I have to show you the statistics so this is the fourth email there is fourth 824 it's okay so this is the fourth email I have sent it to someone who never opened the first or second or third on fourth email I had a total of three unsubscribers and spam complaints okay so thats point zero four percent of people so 7756 emails only five people were like yeah it are too many emails you send me okay as far as you know the facts in this case show me that people finally
